The guys over at Talking Finger are at it again; saving us hours of frustration by first, giving us a great overview of the new changes to Facebook released last week, and further, by producing a series of cool, instructive videos to help us see and do our way into Facebook fantastico!
First up is Part I of III, featuring William DeRosa walking you through some of the great stuff found on Facebook’s new Timeline for Profiles. It’s slick, sort of like a magazine style view with larger photos and highlighted, easier to read conversations, all supported with a year-based timeline tracker. Click on any year along the timeline and you can see what was happening in your life and others. Who were you connecting with, what photos you featured and more. New to Facebook? Don’t worry. William will show you how to quickly add content and (in part II) the new privacy setting that allows you a bit more control over who views that content.
One more thing: if you simply can’t wait for Facebook’s full release of Timeline, Huffington Post had a great post of how you can get Timeline now. It’s super easy (really, you can do this in less than 5 minutes!). William also expects Part II to be out later today, so check back! You can’t see the new Timeline profiles on other pages until you get yours up, so get it now!
If you’ve already got Timeline, tell us how you like it …or why not. What’s your favorite feature? Leave your comments on Timeline or the video by Talking Finger below!
